Tant’Aimée was the « garbure » (soup of meat and vegetable) made by Aunt Aimée’s heart! But this peerless cook’s aura was long beyond the flavours she gave to her cooking.

Cousins, nephews and nieces, employees of the hotel, all keep the memory of a woman who inspired a deep respect. Mistress of the house for many decades, her angers were as much feared as her dishes were appreciated. Woe to the one who did not wake up promptly the following day of a trip to Laruns for the celebration of the 15th of August!

But beyond these anecdotes and youth memories, stays the affection of all those who lived with her for one or several summers. We loved her so much!
